T. Brett Haire, Jr.
Co-Founder, BRAVE Family Advisors
Brett co-founded BRAVE Family Advisors in 1992.
After 4 years in the US Army as a Cobra gunship pilot and with a tour of duty in Vietnam, he graduated from the University of Maryland in 1974 with a B.S. in Business.
He began his finance career at Chemical Bank as a lending officer and then moved to First Boston, where he became Managing Director in charge of the Equity Trading business.
In his spare time, Brett has been active with youth sports in both New Jersey and nationally. In the 1980’s, while running the local hockey program, he re-built the ice rink in Summit, and he ran the Summit Lacrosse Club for many years. On the national level, he also served as the Chairman of the US Lacrosse Foundation from 2003-2007. US Lacrosse is the national governing body for men and women’s lacrosse in the United States.
Brett continues to run the Other Fellow First Foundation, which he founded in 2000 with one of his friends. The foundation exists to assist New Jersey families in distress.
When he’s not spending time with his wife Judy and their three sons and nine grandchildren, he enjoys golfing and fishing.
Brett splits his time between the Summit and Tiverton offices of BRAVE Family Advisors.
